# AI and agents

> Koten UI exposes the system to agents at three levels: a machine-readable index with one Markdown page per piece, an Agent Skill to consume the components, and skills to extend or author new pieces.

## Access levels

- Read: `/llms.txt` (index), `/llms-full.txt` (whole corpus) and `/md/**` (one page per piece).
- Consume: the `koten-ui` skill picks, installs and composes components.
- Extend: `koten-design-system` adds pieces inside the repository; `koten-design-language` authors a piece in any project that uses Koten.
- Install with `npx skills add codehive-colombia/koten --skill koten-ui`.

Paste the llms.txt URL, not the catalog homepage: an agent that only receives the root address still has to discover the index.

Every catalog page also has a Markdown twin: append `.md` to any URL or send `Accept: text/markdown`.
