Tategaki

Vertical text (vertical-rl) for editorial labels. It is hidden on mobile and from screen readers by default, because it is an accent rather than essential content.

Install

Install koten-theme first when the project has no Koten tokens yet.

npx shadcn@latest add https://koten.codehive.com.co/r/tategaki.json

Accessibility

• decorative hides the block from screen readers: it must not be the only place information lives.
• It is hidden on mobile so it does not steal width; if it is real content, also offer the horizontal version.
• It replaces neither the title nor the body: it is a short, optional label.
